Bacon Cheeseburger Ramen Noodle Bake

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. Cook the ramen noodles according to package directions, omitting the seasoning packets. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain off excess fat.
  4. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, and 1½ cups of the shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.
  6. Add the cooked noodles, beef mixture, and half of the crumbled bacon. Stir until evenly combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Top with mozzarella cheese, the remaining ½ cup of cheddar, and the rest of the bacon.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
  9. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Variations:

  • Spicy Kick: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture for heat.
  • Pickle Lover’s Twist: Stir in a few tablespoons of chopped dill pickles for that true burger tang.
  • Ranch Style: Swap the soup for cream of chicken and add ranch seasoning for a different flavor profile.
  • Veggie Boost: Mix in sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or spinach for added nutrition and texture.

Tips:

  • For a crispier top, broil the casserole for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.
  • Don’t overcook the ramen; slightly underdone is better since they continue to cook in the oven.
  • You can prepare the dish ahead of time and refrigerate it before baking. Add an extra 5–10 minutes to the bake time if chilled.
  • Leftovers reheat beautifully in the oven or microwave and make a great next-day lunch.
