Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, combine the cooked chicken, chopped bacon, ranch dressing, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until everything is evenly coated. Season lightly with salt and black pepper if needed.
- Warm the flour tortillas slightly in a skillet or microwave so they are soft and flexible.
- Spoon the chicken mixture evenly down the center of each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes.
- Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll tightly into wraps.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter or oil.
- Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until golden brown and lightly crispy.
- Remove from heat, slice in half if desired, and serve warm.
Variations
- Use grilled chicken or rotisserie chicken for extra flavor and convenience.
- Swap cheddar cheese for mozzarella, Colby Jack, or a spicy pepper jack.
- Add sliced avocado, green onions, or jalapeños for extra texture and taste.
- Try whole wheat or spinach tortillas for a different twist.
Tips
- Do not overfill the wraps to prevent them from opening while cooking.
- Press gently with a spatula while toasting to help seal the wrap.
- These wraps can be assembled ahead of time and toasted just before serving.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
