Bacon Wrapped Ranch Chicken

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Rub each chicken breast with olive oil and then coat evenly with the ranch seasoning blend.
  4. Wrap each piece of chicken with 2 slices of bacon, ensuring the ends are tucked underneath.
  5. Place the wrapped chicken in the baking dish, seam-side down to keep the bacon secure.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F and the bacon is crispy.
  7. For added crispness, broil on high for 2–3 minutes—watch closely to prevent burning.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Variations:

  • Spicy twist: Add a pinch of cayenne or drizzle buffalo sauce over the finished chicken.
  • Cheesy version: Add a slice of pepper jack or mozzarella underneath the bacon before wrapping.
  • Low-carb option: Serve with cauliflower mash or roasted green beans for a keto-friendly meal.

Tips:

  • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking and ensure juicy, perfectly done chicken.
  • For maximum bacon crispiness, place the chicken on a wire rack over the baking dish so fat can drain off as it cooks.
