Cheddar Bacon Beef Sandwich

Instructions:

  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef (deli-style or leftover roast)
  • 4 brioche buns, toasted
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons garlic ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (optional, for toasting buns)

Instructions :

  1. Warm the roast beef in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or broth to keep it moist. Stir occasionally until heated through.
  2. Lightly butter the inside of the brioche buns if desired, and toast them cut side down on a skillet or griddle until golden brown.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of garlic ranch dressing on the bottom half of each bun.
  4. Layer the warm roast beef generously on top, then drizzle with cheddar cheese sauce.
  5. Add 2 slices of crispy bacon to each sandwich.
  6. Cap with the top bun and serve hot.

Variations :

  • Use pepper jack or provolone instead of cheddar for a different cheese profile.
  • Swap garlic ranch with spicy chipotle mayo or honey mustard for a flavor twist.
  • Add sautéed onions, mushrooms, or pickled jalapeños for extra flavor and texture.
  • Use ciabatta or pretzel buns if you prefer a denser bite.

Tips :

  • For extra melty cheese, heat the cheese sauce just before assembling.
  • Keep roast beef warm in a covered pan while prepping buns to ensure everything is served hot.
  • For added richness, brush the tops of the buns with melted butter before serving.
  • Make garlic ranch ahead and store in the fridge for up to a week—it’s great as a dip or salad dressing too.
