Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, cheddar cheese, carrots, green onions, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir just until everything is evenly combined—avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
  2. Form the Patties:
Divide the mixture into 4–5 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  3. Cook the Burgers:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. Rest and Serve:
Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Variations:

  • Use ground turkey for a slightly leaner version.
  • Add chopped jalapeños or hot sauce to the mix for a spicy kick.
  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack or Colby for a flavor change.

Tips:

  • Toast your buns for extra texture and warmth.
  • Top with lettuce, tomato, and a drizzle of ranch or spicy mayo.
  • Leftover patties make a great protein for wraps or chopped into salads.
