Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheddar or mozzarella, cream cheese (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well blended.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up the dough, tucking in the sides as you go, and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
- Serve warm with ranch, marinara, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Variations
- Bacon and cheese: Add a slice of cooked bacon to each roll for smoky flavor.
- Buffalo chicken: Mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce and blue cheese crumbles for a spicy twist.
- Veggie-packed: Add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
- BBQ style: Use shredded chicken tossed in barbecue sauce with cheddar cheese.
Tips
- Seal the rolls tightly to prevent cheese from leaking out while baking.
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience and added flavor.
- For extra crispiness, bake on the middle rack and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
- These rolls reheat well in the oven or air fryer — perfect for leftovers or meal prep.
- Serve as a main with a side salad, or as party snacks with a variety of dipping sauces.
