Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
- Add the shredded chicken, chopped turkey, mozzarella, cheddar, and bacon. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, toss the crushed crackers with the melted butter. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot, bubbly, and the topping is golden.
- Finish with extra bacon and chopped parsley before serving.
Variations
- Replace turkey with rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
- Add steamed broccoli or green beans for extra texture and nutrition.
- Swap Ritz crackers for panko breadcrumbs for a lighter, crunchier topping.
- Add a small amount of diced jalapeños for a gentle heat.
Tips
- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to prevent lumps in the sauce.
- For a richer flavor, use a blend of sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack.
- Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to help it set.
- Drizzle ranch dressing or hot sauce over the top just before serving for added flavor.
