Variations
- Meaty upgrade: Add cooked sausage or crumbled bacon for an extra layer of flavor.
- Veggie lovers: Mix in bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives for a loaded pizza feel.
- Extra cheesy: Use a mix of mozzarella, provolone, and Parmesan for a stretchier, more authentic pizza flavor.
- Spicy twist: Add crushed red pepper flakes or use spicy pepperoni for a bold kick.
Tips
- Use leftover rotisserie chicken to save prep time and boost flavor.
- Crush the crackers just before topping to keep them crisp when baked.
- For a crispier finish, broil the casserole for the last minute or two of baking.
- Let it rest a few minutes after baking for cleaner, easier servings.
