Instructions:
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt dark chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Melt the white chocolate chips separately, then divide into two small bowls. Tint one blue and the other purple with gel food coloring.
- Drizzle the colored chocolates over the dark base. Use a knife or skewer to swirl gently, creating a galaxy effect.
- Sprinkle with edible glitter or star-shaped sprinkles.
- Chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
Variations
- Cosmic red: Add thin streaks of red food coloring through the swirls for a creepy, comet-like effect.
- Milky Way swirl: Mix a little sweetened condensed milk into the colored chocolate before drizzling for softer, glowing streaks.
- Galaxy crunch: Add crushed cookies or candy pieces into the base for texture.
- Adults-only version: Stir in a splash of coffee liqueur or cherry liqueur to enhance the depth of flavor.
Tips
- For best results, use gel food coloring instead of liquid to avoid thinning the white chocolate.
- Don’t over-swirl—the more defined the colors, the more striking the galaxy effect will be.
- Always allow the fudge to chill completely before cutting to get neat squares with sharp edges.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
