Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30–35 minutes until soft and caramelized.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth and slightly thickened. Stir in roasted garlic (mashed), Parmesan, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until creamy.
- Increase oven temperature to 475°F (245°C). Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface and place on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread garlic cream sauce evenly over the dough. Top with shredded mozzarella and scattered pieces of chicken.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.
Variations :
- Swap chicken for shrimp or grilled veggies for a lighter option.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions for more depth of flavor.
- Use fontina or provolone in place of mozzarella for a different cheesy twist.
Tips :
- Roast the garlic ahead of time and keep it in the fridge to speed up prep.
- For an extra indulgent touch, brush the crust with garlic butter before baking.
- A preheated pizza stone will help achieve a crisp, bakery-style crust.
