Roasted Garlic White Chicken Pizza

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30–35 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth and slightly thickened. Stir in roasted garlic (mashed), Parmesan, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until creamy.
  3. Increase oven temperature to 475°F (245°C). Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface and place on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  4. Spread garlic cream sauce evenly over the dough. Top with shredded mozzarella and scattered pieces of chicken.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.

Variations :

  • Swap chicken for shrimp or grilled veggies for a lighter option.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions for more depth of flavor.
  • Use fontina or provolone in place of mozzarella for a different cheesy twist.

Tips :

  • Roast the garlic ahead of time and keep it in the fridge to speed up prep.
  • For an extra indulgent touch, brush the crust with garlic butter before baking.
  • A preheated pizza stone will help achieve a crisp, bakery-style crust.
