Spaghetti Tacos

Instructions:

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium. Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet and mix until noodles are evenly coated with the meat sauce.
  5. Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the taco shells, dividing evenly.
  6. Sprinkle each taco with shredded mozzarella and optional cheddar cheese.
  7. Place filled tacos on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy immediately for the best crunch.

Variations :

  • Use ground turkey or sausage for a different protein base.
  • Add sautéed onions or bell peppers to the meat sauce for extra flavor.
  • Swap marinara for a spicy arrabbiata if you like heat.
  • Top with chopped basil, parsley, or a dollop of ricotta for a gourmet finish.

Tips :

  • Serve tacos in a baking dish to help them stand upright in the oven.
  • Don’t overfill the taco shells—about 1/2 cup of spaghetti per taco is perfect.
  • Prepare all ingredients before filling to ensure quick assembly and prevent sogginess.
  • For added crispness, lightly toast the taco shells before filling.
